Beautiful Peelo Mookodi walked away as the first ever Miss Africa Botswana, after battling it out with 14 other hopefuls for the diamond-studded crown.

The Miss Africa Botswana grand finale was hosted at Ditshupo Hall on Saturday.  Mookodi walked away with a whooping P100,000, her first princess Modioki Gaborone won P 50,000, while the second princess Uua Murangi received P 25,000.

The pageant was a tough duel for all the contestants including the queen and her runner ups.  All the young women were on their A game, as they showcased different cat-walking skills, which was one of the main focus for the night.
