With her debut album, Sa Pelo, songstress Amantle Ntshole has managed to get multiple nominations, which have brought a lot of excitement to her camp.

She has five nominations from Botswana Music Union (BOMU) awards for Best Female, Best Newcomer, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best RnB. She also has one nomination from Yarona FM awards (YAMAs) for the Best Single in the female category. She also has an international nomination from the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) on a category called Revelation of the Continent. “The nominations gave me a wake up call that I am actually doing music that people appreciate. It’s a way to say to an artist, I see your efforts, work hard and keep working hard to improve the craft,” she explained. Amantle stated that she was surprised by the fact that she got recognition abroad from the AFRIMA awards office where she is contesting with international artists that have made a mark internationally.  She said this has also motivated her to put in extra effort and focus more on her work. “I am going to do more music, more collaborations and more learning above all”.

The debut single, Moratiwa, from her album set a milestone for her as it won a number of hearts with the touching and emotional message it carried. She went on to collaborate with Nigerian artist, Naijaboy, on a track called Mukele where she sang in Yoruba a Nigerian native language.
