The younger brother of the late John Kalafatis was detained and released on Tuesday on charges of assault and malicious damage to property.

According to a source in the Botswana Police Service, Costa Kalafatis was having fun with friends at the 'African Mall' in Extension 4 on September 25 and after taking quite a good number of drinks, they had a quarrel. He was detained and later released.

Police public relations officer, Assistant Commissioner, Christopher Mbulawa, confirmed that police arrested Kalafatis on Monday saying their investigations were continuing.
