The year 2010 seems to be a year of jubilee for most local artists with most of them riding the crest of waves. In the recent past, Arts & Culture has reported how the gods of the arts keep on smiling on our local artists such as Culture Spears and Ntirelang Berman.

According to a local daily newspaper, the Department of Arts and Culture has sent a number of local groups to perform in foreign countries so as to market and expose their talents to international markets.  According to the report, Dipela tsa ga Kobokwe from Molepolole have been sent off to Japan, Jam In Christ from Gaborone is in Namibia, Badirammogo Cultural Group from Maake has gone to Nigeria, Phikwe Cultural Group is in the United States of America (US), Chelenze Che Ngwao is in India while Sedibeng Choral Choir is in Europe (UK and Sweden).

Arts & Culture took time to look at some of the individuals and groups in the arts, who are currently making a name for themselves internationally.
