Roads leading to National Stadium to be closed

All the major roads leading to the National Stadium will be closed on Independence Day from 6 am to 6 pm to reduce traffic to the stadium.

A statement from the Ministry of Youth Sport and Culture says the roads are: Notwane Road; from Princess Marina to the National stadium, Chuma Road; from Maruapula traffic lights via Gaborone Sun to the National Stadium and Mobutho Road; from Tshiamo Primary School via University of Botswana to the National Stadium.

The official public parking spaces will be Gaborone Senior Secondary (GSS) grounds and Nanogang JSS grounds.
