Deadly: The honeybadger is renowned as being fearless

FRANCISTOWN: Letlhakane police are investigating a case in which a 56-year-old man was found dead after engaging in a fight with a honey badger recently.

According to Letlhakane Police station commander, superintendent Michael Maphephu, the deceased had recently gone into the bush looking for his livestock as usual, only to come face-to-face with the fearless creature.

“Apparently the man used an arrow to fight the creature and unfortunately during the fight he mistakenly shot himself with the arrow,” said the police boss.
