Threat to kill on the rise in Tlokweng

TLOKWENG: While crime has generally declined in Tlokweng, incidents involving threats to kill are increasing rapidly, Mmegi has learnt.

Crime such as armed robbery and robbery are on the slide in the urban village, with 14 such incidents reported in the area since the beginning of the year, compared to 32 at the same time last year.

However, threat to kill cases are on the increase and according to Tlokweng Station Commander, Robson Maleka, 38 such incidents have been reported this year, compared to 24 over the same period last year.
