Miss Africa tipped to put Gaborone on the Map

Gaborone Mayor, Kagiso Thute, said he believes that Miss Africa pageant has the potential to put the city of Gaborone on the world map.

Speaking during the launch of the pageant at Boipuso Hall on Saturday, the Mayor mentioned that Miss Africa would help to sell Gaborone to the world.

“The city of Gaborone will be the centre of attraction as the whole world will be watching the upcoming pageant,” he said. A total number of 55 countries are expected to take part in the pageant to be held next year.
