Jehovahs Witnesses discuss peace

National conflicts, civil unrest, war and terrorism continues to cause untold pain and suffering to mankind. Despite efforts to achieve peace and security the situation continues to worsen. Many find peace to be elusive as they face economic challenges, crime, disease, family problems, natural disasters and other troubles that create anxiety.

The majority of people living today desire peaceful conditions so why are things getting worse? Is peace possible? Jehovah’s Witnesses encourage all to find the answer to that question in God’s Word, the Bible. The theme of their Special Assembly Day is: “Seek Peace and Pursue it” – 1 Peter 3:11.

Talks such as “Jehovah – The Source of True Peace”, “The Peace of God…Surpasses All Understanding” and “Those Pursuing Peace Gain Jehovah’s Approval” will assist all who attend to appreciate what the Scriptures teach us about Peace.
