Khupe Leads BAIA

Botswana Alcohol Industry Association (BAIA) has a new chairperson. He is Wilson Khupe, who is also the Managing Director of Distell Botswana.

According to information from BAIA, Khupe took over from Kgalagadi Breweries (KBL) corporate strategy director, Thapelo Letsholo.

The vice chairman is Nico Vos, country manager of Namibia Breweries and Diageo. Other members of the committee are Jagdish Shah, who is the treasurer. Shah is also director of CA Sales group, which distributes and sells various import alcohol labels. Letsholo and Tom Mpedi of KBL and BBL respectively are additional members.
