BPL to investigate Madinda media snub

Botswana Premier League (BPL) chief executive officer, Bennett Mamelodi has said they will investigate why Township Rollers coach, Madinda Ndlovu, failed to grant interviews to reporters on Saturday after the epic encounter against Extension Gunners.

The coach refused to talk to reporters arguing that some of them are tarnishing his name, particularly on social media networks.

Mamelodi said he was not aware that reporters had been snubbed by the coach and promised to investigate the matter. He emphasised the need for all stakeholders to work together to promote football. Township Rollers apologised for Madinda’s behaviour at yesterday’s press briefing in Gaborone.
