Lesole tops local producers

Award-winning local producer, Tshepo Lesole, might not be in the same league as Caiphus Semenya and Quincy Jones, but his name tops the list of the best producers locally.

Lesole has steadily climbed up the music ladder and is now a force to reckon with in terms of music production.  Some of the big names that have passed through Lesole’s skilled hands include Afro Jazz songstresses Punah Gabasiane, Kearoma Ranto and Nnunu Ramogotsi.  Other household names include Benson Phuthego, Lizibo, KTM Choir and Uri. 

He is quick to point out that he also cherishes opportunities to unearth hidden talent.
