Motswaledi, who died in a freak accident which caused media frenzy in July , was also one of  the founding members of the KTM choir.

For the Legendary (present) award it was Alfredo Mos who scooped the award.

Notably, this year fewer people turned to the show, although the VIP section was full, the normal section had less than 20 people.

On a lighter side, there can be no award ceremony without the glitz and glamour, as is expected the Gaborone who’s’ and who’s’ were spotted by Monitor Showtime at the event. But it was local Poet, Berry Heart who set tongues rolling with her outrageous  outfit.

Berry Heart appeared  in a white gown, that split at her waist leaving nothing to the imagination was the hottest  dressed for the night, followed by RB2 presenter Gaona Thasana who was also dressed up for the occasion. Most of the men were all suited up for the awards without any major fashion statements.
