Bathai bows out of BOKA

After months of leadership turmoil, Botswana Karate Association (BOKA) president, Tshepho Bathai has called it quits. The BOKA boss said that yesterday that his last day at the helm is December 17. Bathai came to office after ousting Million Masumbika early this year.

The outgoing BOKA president said that internal squabbles in BOKA were easy to handle but not the interference from Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC).

He accused his detractors of peddling falsehoods against him.
