Chiefs court ex-Kaizer Chiefs star

Mochudi Centre Chiefs are courting former Kaizer Chiefs and Bidvest Wits defender Thomas Sweswe in an effort to beef up their backline during the January transfer window.

Chiefs’ assistant coach and administrator, Zaahid Jalal has been in touch with the steely defender.

Indications are that Jalal, who is Mike Sithole’s confidant, was acting on the recommendation of the Zambian coach. Sithole will not run the rule over the experienced defender as his mind is made up on the defender if he is available next month.
