Retired Lieutenant Colonel Duke Masilo encouraged graduating standard seven pupils to keep up excellent academic performance in order to be educated future leaders.

Speaking at Highridge High  English Medium primary school standard seven graduation in Thamaga, Masilo advised the children to work even harder at their junior secondary school level. He told them that even though they were doing well at primary school, the junior certificate is a bit harder to attain and requires people be determined to pass so that they can graduate to a higher level (senior secondary and tertiary).

“Highridge School continues to produce excellent graduates since it was established 11 years ago. It will not be easy to say goodbye to you, as it had been a great journey for both of us. I know that we have faced hardships, many assignments, worked hard and were even able to solve problems but it has been a beautiful journey. As all of you go out to further your education, I urge you to focus on your education and not be distracted by anyone or anything,” he said.
