Son of Molepolole MP still on the run

The son of Molepolole North MP, Mohammed Khan is still on the run from police who are looking for him in connection with theft of a government motor vehicle last July.

Khan has confirmed that his 25-year-old son, Nadeem is a wanted man but could not be drawn into discussing the matter further saying he would be in a position to talk next week. Three people, Oteng Puleng, Thabo Seswai and Modisaotsile Rentse have already appeared at the Village Magistrate Court to answer charges on the theft. They are accused of stealing two government vehicles parked at the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) Glen Valley barracks.

Nadeem Khan is believed to have played a role in the alleged theft and the police are hunting for him.
