The YAMAs add to the entertainment glitz and glamour

On Saturday, urban youth radio station Yarona FM celebrated their 15th anniversary in style by staging the radio station’s inaugural music awards, the YAMAs. It was a spectacle to behold.

The night belonged to the musicians who have wowed their fans with their talent and many of the local musicians and DJs there walked away with prizes. 

In every way, the YAMAs are what our fledgling music industry needs. It is pleasing to read that the organisers of the YAMAs would like to see them playing on channels like Btv, e-Botswana, and DStv  in an effort to market local talent.
