Controversial businessman Bissau Gaobakwe will appear in court today at the Extension II magistrate court for charges of threat to kill. He will be appearing before Magistrate Abigail Masawi.

Bissau is said to have threatened to kill one Mandlenkosi Masuku saying “I will shoot you on the head three times.” Bissau allegedly said this on August 18 at Masetlheng ward in Tlokweng.

Previously when appearing before court, 39 year old Bissau cut a lonely, quiet and reserved figure behind the dock as instructions on his bail condition were read out for him. He was ordered to pay P1,000 for his bail, and not to interfere with ongoing investigations. He was also ordered to keep his distance from the complainant until investigations are completed.  When given a chance to comment on the bail conditions, Bissau indicated that he had nothing to say, as it was his first arraignment since the matter was reported to the police.
