BIUST acting Vice Chancellor resigns

It doesn’t rain but pours at Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) where this week Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Dennis Siginer has resigned not long after the resignation of the University’s Vice Chancellor Professor Hilary Inyang.

In an interview with Mmegi yesterday, spokesperson for the university Shakie Kebaswele confirmed that Professor Siginer resigned two days ago.

However Kebaswele could not divulge much information concerning reasons for Professor Siginer’s sudden resignation from a position he was appointed to barely a month after the resignation of Professor Inyang who cited external interference.
