Barclays travellers� service

Barclays Africa has announced the introduction of the Barclays Premier Travel Assistance Service for clients travelling to South Africa.

The new service allows Barclays Premier Banking clients to venture almost anywhere in the country to experience the ultimate combination of travel, nature, wildlife, culture, adventure, heritage and entertainment. This service is tailored for Premier Banking Clients and provides them with the opportunity to plan a personalised trip. Clients can arrange a multitude of services including travel, access to a concierge service to book a trip up Table Mountain, a visit to the Apartheid Museum or the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban and much more.

According to Barclays, there is no cost attached to using the Barclays Premier Travel Assistance Service to assist with travel planning. However, any additional travel-related bookings such as accommodation, flights, car hire, airport transfers and trips to various tourist sites are at the client’s own expense. Managing Director, Reinette van der Merwe says, “Affluent travellers have very specific needs when travelling for either business or pleasure.”
