The Botswana Football Association (BFA) has suspended its vice president (administration), Tariq Babitseng with immediate effect.

In a statement, BFA president, Tebogo Sebego said an emergency executive committee yesterday resolved to suspend Babitseng who was to the association’s executive committee in July.

“The suspension is to facilitate an investigation and/or disciplinary action against Babitseng in respect of the handling of the contingency funds arising from the Guinea Bissau/Botswana game in Guinea Bissau,” Sebego said.
