Jwaneng Galaxy FC, formed after a merger of four Jwaneng teams, kept alive their promotion hopes after brushing aside Killer Giants 2-0 on Sunday.

Galaxy lead the First Division South table with 20points after nine games.  They have only lost once winning six times. Galaxy has accumulated 20 points and they need to reach 24 points to be in the clear of promotion. The side hammered Killer Giants 2-0 on Sunday to increase the lead at the top of the log.  Mogoditshane Fighters is second with 17 points after losing 2-0 to Prisons XI over the weekend.

Galaxy spokesperson, Kealeboga Ramogobya told Mmegi Sport yesterday that they are trying hard to keep focus and continue playing well.  He stated retrospectively that excitement could have a negative impact on the club whose main aim now is to widen the gap between them and Fighters. Ramogobya revealed that it is important for the club to score as many goals as possible.
