Media personality feared dead in boating accident

SEHITWA: The search continues today for a third body after a boat accident in Lake Ngami in which media personality, Laona Segaetsho is feared dead.

Botswana Defence Force (BDF) scuba divers will resume the search today after calling it off yesterday at 4pm.

About 300 people, including local fishermen, gathered on the banks of Lake Ngami yesterday as the scuba divers continued their search for the last missing passenger from the boat.  The police have confirmed that a fibreglass canoe with three men capsized in inclement weather on Sunday afternoon. The BDF, with assistance from local fishermen, recovered the body of a 44-year-old man on Sunday and a 42-year-old man yesterday.
