A great treat for shoppers

Shoppers were treated to a week of shopping courtesy of the Johannesburg Shopping Festival (JSF) last week. This was the first full-blown edition of the festival after several trials had been done in recent years.

The festival took place in and around Sandton City, and the Oriental Plaza, which are amongst Johannesburg’s busiest shopping centres from October 30 to November 2, 2014.

Though the festival was a showcase of the best the city has to offer from high-end fashion to must–have bargains that included everything from clothes, bags, shoes, jewellery, electronics, and fabric to homewares and more. All shoppers had to do was spend a minimum of R200 or more at any participating retail store and stand a chance to win a shopping spree worth R30,000.  Over 50 shops participated in the JSF and these included shops like Nine West, Topshop, Guess, La Senza, Adidas, Due South, Aldo, Mango and Levi’s amongst others.
