Metsimotlhabe Primary School pupils will soon become technology savvy thanks to the generosity of Rocklane Lodge. The lodge has given the school state of the art computers with a two-year free internet connectivity.

The donation was handed over on Friday under the Internet connection and the Adopt-A-School initiative. The donation has come at a time when the school’s performance in national exams is falling due to lack of resources. From a 70 percent pass rate in 2012, it recorded 50 percent in the 2013 Standard Seven exams.

During the handing-over, the school head, Betty Moamogwe, said technology has become an important tool in the teaching fraternity.
