Dithubaruba table tennis club, will host the season ending ranking tournament at Sebele Multi-Purpose Hall tomorrow. The club hosts the Botswana Table Tennis Association (BTTA) event for the first time. Dithubaruba public relations officer, Zachariah Seabo said they expect a good competition as each player wants to end the season on a high. Good showing will earn players a spot in the BTTA league next season. Only the top eight ranked players compete in the league.

“While others will be fighting to be in the league next season, others will be competing to be in the top 16. That will be their passport to take part in the top 16 tournament to be held towards end of the year,” he said.

The league ends on December 6. Bonolo Mabote of Smash Maniacs Club stands a good chance of emerging tops as he is unbeaten. However, Seabo said Mabote is not expected to have an easy time as he will face tough opposition in Keenete Santudu of Nhabe, Kola Modisathebe of Smash Maniacs and Thobo Matlhatsi of BDF.
