IEC inducts election officers

MASUNGA: The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) office in Masunga this week inducted election officers in preparations for next week’s general elections.

The induction workshop, which was held at Masunga Community Hall, was attended by election officers and candidates for both local and central government.

The election officers were taken through relevant electoral sections as well as demonstration of the election process. Principal elections officer, Salini Bafaneli urged candidates and officers to work with each other and be always willing to learn to be able to execute their duties effectively and efficiently.
