�Notorious Merubisi� knife Security Systems officers

Three Security Systems officers based in Thamaga were this past Sunday brutally stabbed by gang members believed to be from “merubisi”.

Thamaga has been battling this serious gang violence over the years, with the situation reaching peak levels and attracting a lot of attention from the media; cases of violence, theft, burglary and even rape were the order of the day.

The station commander at the Thamaga Police station Superintendent Moses Makgoeng confirmed this incident. He told Mmegi that the security officers were reacting to a call for help from one of their clients.
