I was targeting a bird, says kid after shattering BCP bus

FRANCISTOWN: A child who shattered the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) tour bus with a catapult in Francistown has told the police he was targeting a bird.

The  BCP’s on going presidential tour was disturbed on Saturday in Francistown when the newly launched tour bus had one of its windows shattered by a juvenile before it was fixed for P3,300. Central Police Station have confirmed that they are investigating a case of malicious damage involving two primary school going boys at the low income location of Monarch in Francistown.

The two are said to have broken a side window of a bus belonging to the BCP which was on a tour in the location on Saturday morning.
