Two Batswana women to attend PTW conference

Lebogang Disele and Tumisang Baatshwana have been invited to participate in the Performing The World (PTW) Conference to be held in New York, USA, from October 10 to 12, 2014.

This is the eighth edition of the conference and this year’s theme is, How Shall We Become? PTW is an interdisciplinary and practical-critical forum that interrogates the role that performance can play in changing the world.

Disele is scheduled to present Keneilwe: Displaced By Our Search For Identity? The presentation will feature an excerpt from the dance production, Keneilwe: A Dance For The Given, choreographed by artistic director of Sky Blue Dance Hub and co-presenter Baatshwana.
