FIFA response on constituency eagerly awaited

The Botswana Football Association (BFA) submitted a proposal on how to manage constituency tournaments to FIFA, days before yesterday’s deadline.

The proposal to Zurich, Switzerland was presented last week, ahead of the September 22 deadline. BFA chief executive officer, Keith Masters said a letter was sent to the world soccer governing body last week and they expect a swift response.

It was unclear if FIFA met yesterday over the matter. “A proposal was sent last week and we do not expect the response to take long,” Masters said.
