Unseeded teams begin Independence Cup hunt

FRANCISTOWN: The city’s soccer starved fans get the opportunity to whet their appetite when the annual Independence Cup kicks-off.

There has been little notable football activity in recent weeks in Francistown and the Independence Cup comes as a godsend.

This will be the only cup competition featuring a Francistown Premier League team this season as ECCO City Greens failed to make it to the Mascom Top tournament.
