Gang beats up LSSS headmaster

Letlhakane Senior Secondary School (LSSS) headmaster, Peter D’Arcy was beaten up by a gang in the village last week, after attempting to break up a fight between the young men.

According to onlookers, D’Arcy attempted to mediate in a fight between rival gang members and was instead set upon by the young men, led by a certain “Shima”.

“Shima and his boys were fighting amongst themselves, hitting each other with bats and throwing bottles,” the eyewitness told Mmegi. “D’Arcy tried to intervene and calm the situation down because it was getting really serious as one guy was bleeding.
