Re ba bona ha launched in F/town

FRANCISTOWN: Debswana has done very well when it comes to spreading sports particularly chess to areas outsides cities through its sponsorship of the Re Ba Bona Ha grassroots programme, Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) Board Chairperson Martin Mokgwathi, said over the weekend.

He was speaking at the launch of the Re Ba Bona Ha programme in Francistown.

“Through Re Ba Bona Ha chess initiative the sport has gained access to villages and localities such as Kasane, Shakawe, Kanye, Masunga, and Gantsi we now in Francistown. The centre will not only serve as a home for those with the desire to become the next Boikhutso Mudongo or Phemelo Kheto but also a destination for young chess players to share learning and experience.
