Netball squad fine-tunes in South Africa

A 20-member Botswana national netball squad travels to South Africa today for friendly matches in preparation for the Spar Super Stars tournament and the World Championships qualifiers. While in South Africa the team will play four matches against provincial sides, namely Northwest, Flames, Menlo Park, Gauteng North and Gauteng East.


The newly introduced Super Stars tournament takes place next month while Botswana hosts the Africa World Championships qualifiers in September.Botswana Netball Association (BONA) spokesperson, Ntebo Maplanka said a number of friendly matches have been lined-up to fully prepare the squad for the qualifiers.
