The Under-19 girls cricket team has started preparations for the Four Nations tournament which the country hosts next month.

Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) fixtures and publicity secretary, Sumod Damodar told Mmegi Sport the team has already started preparations for the tournament. He said the team trains during weekends and plays practice matches with other junior teams.

“We have a challenge of practicing during the week because of the school calendar since most of our girls are in school” said Damodar. He further said they knock off late and it becomes impossible for them to attend practice sessions.
