The �spook house� where Seretse was born

Located behind the Serowe main kgotla, next to the concrete silos between the Seretse Khama statue and Bangwato royal cemetery there is a dilapidated house on the hillside with a grand view of the village.

The house is where it is believed Botswana’s founding president Sir Seretse Khama was born.

It has been neglected and left to decay.  Currently a ghost house, it has graffiti in red paint with cracked walls.
