Moore Becomes TAFIC Boss In Absentia

FRANCISTOWN: Media investor, Don Moore was elected chairman of controversy ridden soccer club, TAFIC, in a vote where the contestants were missing in action. Moore who co-owns the country’s leading tabloid, The Voice, beat former TAFIC chairman, Humphrey Nawa 19-13 in elections that both men did not attend. Because he was not present at the poorly attended AGM, some senior club members were delegated to go and plead with Moore to accept the post.
