Last week’s decision by the University of Botswana Council to revert to the old logo has caused confusion amongst former students who graduated between 2008 and 2013, as there are unconfirmed reports that the institution may recall qualification documents bearing the abandoned logo.

The fallout from the logo change-back at the University of Botswana continued yesterday with reports of panic among old graduates who fear that the institution will recall their qualification documents bearing the abandoned logo.

Students who graduated from the University between 2008 and 2013, fear that they will be asked to surrender their certificates, diplomas and degrees which bear the logo introduced and later abandoned by the institution.
