Makosha develops cold feet

Makosha who became an MP in 2009 lost the BDP primary elections last year against Polson Majaga. He did not take the loss lightly and never denied reports that he was talking to the opposition Botswana National Front (BNF) to defect. He even told a local publication and radio station that he intends to leave the BDP.
He said people in his constituency advised him to stand as an independent candidate. But this week, Makosha was singing a different tune. The controversial legislator said he remains loyal to the BDP and has never engaged in talks with the opposition to defect.
