The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has expressed concern over the growing number of missing records in some ministries.

PAC chairman Nehemiah Modubule said there is a growing trend where some ministries fail to keep their accounting records safe.

He said missing records result in speculation, which gives a false impression of a ministry’s books of accounts.  He explained that the committee’s mandate is  not to persecute anyone like many believe.
