Crunch time for BDP

Bouyed by the return of Phillip Makgalemele to the Botswana Democratic Party, a move that has momentarily taken away the momentum from the BMD and saved the BDP from further bleeding, the BDP meets in a Daniel Kwelagobe instigated retreat in Gaborone tomorrow.

The meeting is seen, by BDP activists as the last chance to unite the party before it is subjected to political weathering. It is expected that Khama will be shown his mistakes that ostensibly precipitated the BDP crisis and some activists will implore the party leadership to call a cabinet reshuffle.  Some delegates will even call for the appointment into cabinet of BMD officials, just to neutralise the potency of the BDP.
