US embassy hosts workshop

Over the weekend the US Embassy hosted TechCamp Botswana, a two day interactive event bringing the power of technology to civil society.

In addition to over 20 participants from Botswana, representatives from 14 other African countries also attended the workshop  held at Botho University in Gaborone. It was the second in a series of workshops carried out in cooperation with the Community of Democracies – a global intergovernmental organisation devoted to the creation and advancement of democratic ideals.
