Fete-de-la Musique returns

The Fete-de-la Musique is around the corner and this year the 12th instalment of the free music show promises to live up to its reputation of a rich line-up of local and international performers. The music spectacular slated for June 21, at Botswanacraft will feature local heavyweights including Samantha Mogwe, Scar, Zeus, Mophato Dance Theatre, Clement Jackson, Amok, Hellen Dikobe, Motswafere, Genius Senyatso, Peach Kereemang, Dipstrada, Godfrey Moeng, C-Kay, TNT, Harmonic Angel, Maya Rose, Casper and many others.

Alliance Française cultural coordinator, Hanna Rochetaing, said this year’s show would feature American country and bluegrass band Venture Moody.  

Venture Moody Band, which comprises of Rebecca Venture, Carlton Moody and Jackson Moody, was in Botswana last year.
