FRANCISTOWN: Botswana Rugby Union (BRU) is in the process of appointing a head coach for the women’s national team to succeed Munyaradzi Mhonda who left last year

“The coach will be appointed in the next two weeks,” Jerome Alabu, the BRU secretary general told Mmegi Sport.

He declined to name those in the running and whether BRU was impressed with Mhonda’s performance. He said the new officials are yet to study Mhonda’s performance report prepared by the previous committee. “We will interrogate the previous committee’s report in order to make our own informed judgment before appointing the head coach,” he said. He said a number of factors would be taken into consideration.
