Stanbic backs inaugural Dintweng Cup

Stanbic Bank Botswana has donated 14 soccer balls to Seven Stars Premier Skills Academy (SSPSA).

The balls are meant to be used ahead of the academy's inaugural Ernest Dintweng Youth Cup on August 6-8. The tournament will involve primary and junior schools from Tsamaya and surrounding villages like Tshesebe, Themashanga and Mabudzane.

Speaking at the handover ceremony at the weekend, Stanbic Bank Football Club chairman, Onkabetse Morapedi said they decided to support the tournament as a way of giving back to the community. He said the donation is relevant to the community, as it will aid the development of Botswana football from the grassroots.
