Shot In The Arm For Namibian Infrastructure Projects

WINDHOEK - The latest round of loan approvals by the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) will lead to health sector improvements of nearly N$5 million, road upgrades of about N$6 million, sewerage networks worth approximately N$3,6 million and telecoms infrastructure costing just over N$3,7 million.

It will also fund the construction of a bonded warehouse of N$5 million at the Katwitwi border post near Rundu, and will pay for the installation of a hydraulic pump at the Aroab Village Council.

The DBN said it had approved 34 projects to the tune of N$123 million from April to June this year.
