Gaborone mum on next political move

The former vice-president of the Botswana National Front (BNF), Olebile Gaborone has declined to shed light on his future in the country's ever-changing political scene.

The politician told Mmegi on Wednesday that he is still a member of the BNF and would remain an MP for South East North until 2014 or until death, whichever comes first.

Gaborone said he is aware of speculation that he is likely to leave the BNF for another party, possibly the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP).
