Motshwarakgole attacks Khama�s �destitute parade�

Although the organising secretary for National Amalgamated Local and Central Government and Parastatal Manual Workers Union (NALCGPMU) Johnson Motshwarakgole is full of praises for the presidential housing appeal, he has a problem with President Ian Khama parading poor people on Botswana Television (Btv).

The veteran unionist said this yesterday during the groundbreaking of the union’s multi million pula building.

“There is nothing wrong with the Presidential Housing Appeal, it is a good initiative,” said Motshwarakgole. The only problem, said the unionist, is that some students stigmatise children of the recipients of the initiative after being paraded on Btv.
